  6.                        What is this thing?
  7.  
  8. Ultimate games CD-ROM is a collection of DEMO programs from Accidental
  9. Software.  These games provide fully functional DEMOs of the complete
  10. version of these programs.  The complete versions are available on this
  11. CD-ROM through a Code purchase feature.  If you like the DEMO of one or
  12. more of the games, you can have instant access to the complete version
  13. by obtaining a Key Code from Accidental Software or an authorized
  14. representative. Enter the proper Key Code into this program and you will
  15. be instantly upgraded to the full version of the game(s) you want.  The
  16. following games are included.....

  18. 1.  Ultimate Blackjack -------- Animated blackjack.
  19. 2.  Ultimate Baccarat --------- Animated baccarat game.
  20. 3.  Ultimate Poker ------------ Animated poker game.
  21. 4.  Ultimate Craps ------------ Animated craps game.

  27.                        GENERAL INFORMATION
  28.  
  29. These games can be setup to run from Windows (recommended for Windows 95
  30. users) or to run from DOS if desired.  Windows 3.x may not be compatible
  31. with these programs when run through a DOS window depending on how your
  32. computer and Windows is setup.  They must be setup with either the
  33. DOSSETUP.EXE or windows SETUP.EXE program provided.

  35.                           WINDOWS SETUP
  36.  
  37. Use the windows RUN menu (windows 3.x) or the Add/Remove Programs feature
  38. (windows 95) to set these programs up for use in windows.  Note: if you
  39. use the CD-ROM to run these programs, the Icon for Ultimate CD-ROM
  40. will not show in the program group if the CD-ROM is not in the drive when
  41. windows boots after the initial installation. An ICON is provided in the
  42. directory that you specify for the game data for your use if you so desire.

  44.                             DOS SETUP
  45.  
  46. The Ultimate CD-ROM must be setup with the DOSSETUP.EXE program provided
  47. with this CD-ROM.  To run DOSSETUP.EXE, insure your CD-ROM drive is the
  48. active drive and your Ultimate CD-ROM disk is in the drive.  Type 
  49. "DOSSETUP" and push Enter to run the program.  NOTE: the dos program
  50. "XCOPY" must be in your path to use the "Install games to your Hard
  51. Drive option".

  53.                      WINDOWS AND DOS SETUP OPTIONS
  54.  
  55.         Option:  Play games from the CD-ROM.  This option will require 
  56. approximately 200K of hard disk space to store game data files as they
  57. are produced during game play.  Most 2x CD-ROMs or faster should provide
  58. adequate performance for these games.  Once setup, this option REQUIRES
  59. the Ultimate CD-ROM be in your CD drive.

  61.         (Windows use)..  Double click on the Ultimate Games icon to
  62.         start the menu program for these games.
  63.  
  64.         (DOS use)..  Switch to your CD drive.  If these games reside
  65.         in their own directory on the CD-ROM, you will need to change
  66.         to that directory.  Type "ULT" and press enter to run the menu
  67.         program.  From the menu you will be able to select the game of
  68.         your choice or read the game manual (BOOK) for each game.

  70.         Option:  Install games to your Hard Drive.  These games can 
  71. be installed to your hard drive if you have approximately 20 mega bytes 
  72. of hard disk space to dedicate to these games.  Hard disk installation 
  73. will provide the best game performance since many of these games require 
  74. large amounts of data to be loaded during game play.  Some CD-ROM drives 
  75. may provide marginal data transfer rates that could detract from game 
  76. performance.  All game files as well as the menu program will be copied 
  77. to your hard drive if this option is selected.  NOTE:  The dos program
  78. "XCOPY" must be in your path to use this option.

  80.         (Windows use)..  Double click on the Ultimate Games icon to
  81.         start the menu program for these games.

  83.         (DOS use)..  Switch to the drive to which you have installed these
  84.         games.  Change to the directory "ACCIDENT" on that drive then
  85.         type "ULT" and press enter to run the menu program. From the
  86.         menu you will be able to select the game of your choice or
  87.         read the game manual (BOOK) for each game.
